Dredd 3D Review

Bullets to the face? Yes please!

This movie was fan-freaking-tastic! I liked it, nuff said. But of course you want more because your needy and only think of yourselves. This movie was done right. With a low-budget and a focus on the characters, it delivers great performances from the actors. This movie totally made the one with Stallone in it look like a piece of crap. This movie is violent and gritty and a perfect fit for the Judge Dredd universe and is definitely something to take your kids and the whole family too. I encourage it.

Pros

• Bullets to the face
• Slow motion bullets to the face
• Bullets to other places in extreme detail
• Karl Urban’s mean mug for the whole movie

Cons

• Wish it was longer but still love the fast paced speed of it
• The need for money to see it again

I hope this movie turns out some sequels. Something to flesh out the world of Mega-City One more.

Resident Evil Retribution Review

Would have been great if it was a video game…

But sadly it is not. Basically I didn’t like this movie and that’s my opinion and I’m sticking to it. On the up side though, there were some great cameos from almost every major character in the Resident Evil universe.

Pros

• Milla Jovovich is hot and not to bad an actor
• Michelle Rodriguez is also hot and is a total badass in this movie and she does great acting in a different kind of role
• 3D and effects are decent

Cons

• The dialogue is terrible
• The sound associated with the guns are terrible (When a 357 goes off, I expect a MUCH louder sound…disappointing)
• There’s really two good actors and I already described them above

Overall this movie is crap. If you don’t believe me then go see it. I’m not going to stop you. Paul W.S. Anderson needs to kill this undead franchise before it fully rots.
